Elizabeth Bonduel Lily Tabor was born July 13, 1884 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Horace A. W. Tabor and Elizabeth "Baby Doe" Tabor. She was the oldest of two daughters born to the couple. She was highly photographed and she was featured in Harper's Weekly. As an adult, she moved to Chicago to live with and aunt and her grandmother McCourt. In 1907 she married her cousin, John Last. The couple moved to Milwakee prior to 1911. The couple had three children together and lived in relative obscurity. At her mother's death in 1935, she denied being Baby Doe's daughter.
