Three-quarter standing view of Reverend John Nicholas Schiltz. He wears eyeglasses. He wears a black double-breasted coat and white roman collar. There are also two small vignette photographs of him in the upper corners.
Reverend John Nicholas Schiltz was born in Wisconsin on December 4, 1872. In 1897 he was working in Oshkosh as the leader of St. Bonicius Youth Club at St. Vincent's Church. He was then the assistant pastor at St. Anthony's Church in the 11th Ward of Milwaukee. From 1902-1910 he was pastor at St. Patrick's Church in Lodi, WI. He then returned to Milwaukee. In 1920 he was assigned pastor at St. Sebastian's Church in Milwaukee and possibly in 1930.
