A civil town in Winnebago Co., created 11 Feb. 1847, and is French for "Hill of the Dead".
A three-quarter view of Ernest L. Benedict's grocery. The store list groceries, baking, general merchandise, gasoline & ammunition. Ernest ran his store up to about 1918, when he took ill, he move to Puyallup, Washington, and died there on June 20, 1921. The image is c1910.
