Arthur A. Abraham was born in Oshkosh on December 6, 1885. His parents were Charles F. (Carl Friederich) and Clara Timm Abraham. He was educated at Trinity Lutheran School and Oshkosh Business College. He entered the banking business in Oshkosh as a bookkeeper and stenographer at the National Union bank in 1904. In 1918 he became assistant cashier at the City National Bank. In 1924 he became president and director of the Oshkosh Building Loan and Savings Association. He was also chairman of the board for the Oshkosh National Bank. He married Matilda Manser June 15, 1910. He had two daughters; Dorothy Abraham Krippner and Noryne Abraham Anderson. He died September 5, 1957. Active: 1904 - 1957 |
