Allan B. Ellis was born November 27, 1888 in Nahma, MI. He lived at 540 John Street in Appleton, WI when he enlisted in Company G, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard. When his company became part of the 150th Machinegun Battalion, 42nd "Rainbow" Division, in 1917, Allan was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and Battalion Adjutant. He returned to Appleton after World War I and died there on August 17, 1943. |
