Albert John Phillipson was born August 12 1879, in Scandinavia, Waupaca, Wisconsin, the son of Danish immigrants, Bina and Christian Phillipson. the family moved to Oshkosh prior to 1883, where his father was a gardener. The family was very close to the Schein family and four of the siblings intermarried. Albert married Luisa Schein on August 22, 1900 and the couple had two daughters: Adeline, born June 10, 1901; and Alice, born April 6, 1906. Albert worked as a postal carrier in Oshkosh for most of his life. He died in Oshkosh in March 1967. |
