Frank Everett Worden 1863-1936 Frank was born in Oshkosh on December 13, 1863, to Oliver & Agnes Worden. He married Helena A. Wayland, March, 28, 1889, in Appleton, Wisconsin, they divorced in 1922 The couple had two children Mrs. Lorraine Worden Streich, of Oshkosh, and Charles "Bud" Worden, of Yerington, Nevada. Died June 28, 1936, while eating lunch at the Majestic Restaurant on Main St. He was credited as being the city's first comptroller in 1891-1893 He was the president of F. E. Worden & Company, 165 Hancock St. from 1889-1893, along with Robert B. Pratt . In 1895 he went into the insurance business lasting until 1900. He also was the agent for the Milwaukee Mirror & Art Glass Co. For many years he was an accountant working at 87 Opera House Square, along with the accounting business he got into the wholesale lumber business starting in 1900 with the B. F. McMillen Hemlock Co, as secretary, by 1905 he had his own firm in the trade, F. E. Worden Lumber Co. in which he operated until his death.
