View of Main Street south from the intersection of Algoma and Washington toward the Main Street bridge, taken by Wisconsin Public Service. It shows the old street lights in place prior to the installation of new lights in the winter of 1936 & 1937. None of the buildings on the block at right are standing and only three buildings further down past High still exist. Few of the buildings on the left are still standing. |
