Zeiss/Icon Orix 308/7 10x15cm plate camera. Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 1307568 Tessar 1:45 f = 16.5 cm lens. Front standard has rising/falling and shift adjustments. Compur shutter with1/2/5/10/25/50/100/150/B/T. Double extension bellows. Folding brilliant reflex finder, rotating with spirit level. Rack and pinion focussing. Ground glass screen with folding hood Black; pressed into leather front: "ZEISS/IKON"; pressed mear strap: "ORIX 308/1" or 308/4 o; camera imprinted: "Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 1307568 Tessar 1:45 f = 16.5 cm / COMPUR / 704135 / Made in Germany" 01/08/2008 email, George Eastman House curator Todd Gustavson: He checked the McKeown guide for the camera and identified it as a 10 x 15 cm generic folding camera, dated from 1928-1934.
