The item is a patriotic lapel pin from the World War 2 era consisting of an eagle with his wings outstretched and head turned to the left; the material is a stamped brass which has been enameled showing red and whited feather tips and blue tops of the wings; the reverse is a safety pin device attached allowing the pin to be worn on various shirts and lapels; no identifying marks or manufacturing logos are present. |
