Split image camera. Ansco Pioneer (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Ansco_Pioneer ) lens mounted on specialized back with split image finder and slot for film holder. Stenciled on bottom WSCL, (probably Wisconsin State Crime Lab) It appears this was made at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab. Probably used for mugshots This had been cataloged with 1992.42.2 and was originally numbered and labeled as part of that camera. |
