Description |
Five sprays of beaded flowers, different shades of black and gray or purple seed beads strung on wire and shaped into flower petals, green seed beads strung on wire to make leaves. Brought back from France by Nile Behncke in 1919. Flowers made by French women and used to decorate graves in France. From American soldiers graves on French soil that were destroyed when bombarded by the German guns |
