A) A clear plastic silhouette of a woman. She is posed sitting with her legs outstretched. One of her legs is bent forming a V shape. She is sitting up with her arm supporting her. On the bottom portion of her thigh reads, "WE TAKE POWER AROUND CORNERS/ ROCKWELL STANDARD CORP./ UNIVERSAL JOINT DIV./ ALLEGAN, MICH." This was more than likely used as an advertisement piece for the company. B) a small clear plastic piece with three notches. one notch is shallow and is rounded at the tip. the other is similar but is longer and thinner. the last notch is rectangular in shape and is smaller than the previous two. that seems to go along in some way with the previous piece but is unclear how they fit. This could possibly be a part of a larger pen holder. C) This is identical to B except that the rectangualr notch is flipped so that it is on the bottom, on the opposite side of the other notches, and is slightly deeper than the other Rockwell international corp was founded in 1958 after the merging of various automotive suppliers. The company changed its name to North American Rockwell in 1967 when they merged with Los Angeles based North American Aviation. Rockwell's founder, Willard Rockwell initiated his business in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1919. It started as a small axel plant but in the 1980s it had become the largest U.S. defense contractor and largest NASA contractor. |
