Description |
Bas-relief of female head on circle-shape cast metal (bronze/brass). Female head in profile with a wreath of grapes and grape leaves in wavy hair that is gathered up near crown of head. Above head incised: AUTOMNE, the French word for Autumn. Incised below neck: C P. Front side painted a copper/bronze color paint, back side not treated. Back of bas-relief has chain for hanging that is attached with loops that are screwed into the metal 1 of 4 seasons plaques. Accession records identify artist as Helen Mears. |
